Aubrey Dollar (32) booked a recurring role on 666 Park Avenue. She'll play the role of Anna, a obituary writer daydreaming of becoming a real journalist. Her character is scheduled to appear in the forth installment ...
Desperate times call for desperate measures, after being sent to Fridays this fall, Last Man Standing has a newly appointed showrunner, Tim Doyle (who made an amazing job at being the showrunner of Better Off Ted and Ellen) who I presume will make some radical changes in an attempt to save the show from the cancellation bear. Among those changes is to recast some of the characters. Therefore, Mike Baxter’s (Allen) eldest daughter, Kristin, previously played by Alexandra Krosney, will be played by Amanda Fuller who recently has been seen in Grey's Anatomy where she starred as Dr. Morgan Peterson, she also made appearances in Scandal (taken into consideration that Grey's Anatomy and Scandal have the same showrunner - the one and only Shonda Rhimes) and in Bones.
Alexandra Krosney, Amanda Fuller
Also to be recast is Boyd, Kristin's 5-year old son, previously played by the twin toddlers, Luke and Evan Kruntchev, now will be played by the newcomer Flynn Morrison. Boyd's father, played by Nick Jonas will added to the list of recast characters as Jonas apparently is not available for the role anymore. The role of Boyd's father has the potential of becoming more than recurring as the new showrunner has plans for it to become a potential foil to Mike. Last Man Standing returns on Fridays beginning November 2nd. *Foil - In fiction, a foil is a character who contrasts with another character (usually the protagonist) in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character.A foil's complementary role may be emphasized by physical characteristics. A foil usually either differs drastically or is extremely similar but with a key difference setting them apart.
Is it September 30th yet ? I guess it's not coming fast enough. After a shocking finale delivered by the amazing soapy drama we were left with so many question and if you think those weren't enough the newly released poster for the second season adds one more, what is Emily's next move ?
Since Emily's mom has been identified in the person of Jennifer Jason Leigh I bet first thing on Emily's list is going to be tracking down her mother and the people who are somehow involved in her disappearance.
While waiting for the premiere of the seconds season we have nothing else to do other than to enjoy the new posters for the second season and also a sneak peek for its first season showing us how a simple filming set turns into a beautiful scenery of sand and sun.
I love weird people but not any kind of weird people, you know that kind, they're lovely, humble, their laugh is loud and they get easily embarrassed but they're totally sincere and frank about themselves. I like weird people who know they're weird and that makes them less weird than they think they are. Weird people who say they're not weird that's the kind of people you should stay the hell off. What made me write about is the following video with the remarkable Madeleine Stowe, the devious actress from the ABC show Revenge, my 2011-2012 guilty pleasure. I could not get enough of it and for the most of that is Madeleine's blame. I particularly chose an image from Revenge 'cause she has the most amazing and still poker face you'll ever see on television. She has a killer-look. She portrays a character I didn't know I've been missing.
I was glad and pleasantly surprised to see her off the set of Revenge.
Don't hesitate to watch the show, you'll love to hate her character. On Sundays ABC's Revenge.
As some of you know the Fox series Touch is going through a major makeover as the setting for the second is going to shift from New York to Los Angeles as the characters, Martin and Jake are on the run from people who would exploit Jake's special abilities of identifying patterns that show ways of how people around the world are all connected.
In a statement issued by FOX it's been said that "The story setting shifts from New York to Los Angeles, where single
father MARTIN BOHM and his gifted son JAKE are on the run from the
mysterious and possibly sinister research facility Aster Corps, which
had shown tremendous interest in exploiting Jake’s ability to perceive
the hidden patterns that connect people around the world. After arriving
on the West Coast, the father-son team met distraught mother LUCY
ROBBINS and now are determined to help find her missing – and equally
gifted – daughter AMELIA (Sharbino). During their search, their paths
will cross with Aster Corps genius CALVIN NORBURG (Haas), as well as
TREVOR WILCOX, a journalist and old friend of Martin’s."
For second season we have some casting news. As previously it was announced by TV Fanatic that the show adds a pair of regulars, Lukas Haas and Saxon Sharbino. Haas is expected to play an employee of Aster Corps, the research facility that is going after Martin's son, Jake. Meanwhile Sharbino is going to play the gifted daughter of Lucy Robbins, the character played by another new series regular, Maria Bello.
Also reported today by TV Guide Touch adds another three cast members, one regular, two recurring. The regular gig has been given to Saïd Taghmaoui known for playing Caesar on ABC's Lost and memorable roles on movies like Vantage Point and G.I.Joe The Rise of Cobra. According to The Hollywood Reporter he is set to play "a smart Jesuit priest-turned-killing machine."
Expected for recurring roles are Ray Santiago (know for his role on Raising Hope) who will play a hacker at BreakWire, the online news outlet that employs Martin (Kiefer Sutherland), and who occasionally watches Martin's mute son, Jake. Also for a recurring role is wanted Adam Campbell
(known for his recent role in Parenthood) and he will play a friend and business partner of new series regular Calvin (Lukas Haas).
Although it's been exiled to Fridays I'm keeping hope that with every episode it will rise to the occasion and it will kick some ratings ass. Second starts on October 26 and don't forget to mark your calendars. And make sure you've watched every single episode from its first season and I assure you you will not regret doing that.
The timing for the former FRIENDS star could not be more wrong as he was given the green-light for his new comedy (which premiered last night) in the same day as he sealed the deal with The Good Wife showrunners. Do to his loyalty and commitment to his new comedic role on Go On (NBC) he won't be available for the number of episodes on The Good Wife he's been wanted to.
As reported by TV Guide he was expected to reprise his role interpreting Mike Kreseteva and he says about his character that "I'd never played an all-out bad guy before. The fact that he was
basically a sociopath, a guy who would lie to your face, was just so
much fun to play," maybe fun for him but not so much to Alicie Florick, who's nemesis his character is going to be. Perry's character will do even more by running up against Alicia's husband, Peter Florick in the gubernatorial race.
I can't wait to enjoy that dog fight. As for the question asked by TV Guide if fans see him in a comedic or dramatic role I'd prefer to see him in more comedic roles because for an actor is a lot more important to be loved by his fans rather than being despised for playing someone's nemesis, but that's just me.
Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23 is extending its list of stars expected to play themselves and the one who just made the list is Mark-Paul Gosselaar, the star of
Saved by the Bell and recently seen on Franklin & Bash. Also set to appear to play himself is Frankie Muniz who was recently seen in a guest starring role on ABC's Last Man Standing. Both actors will appear in the episode where James Van Der Beek crosses paths with actors who happened to have played in their own shows, kind of a revelation for Van Der Beek.
Although I didn't watch Dawson's Creek apparently there is going to be a reunion of some kind as Busy Philips (Cougar Town) who recurred in the 5th season and later became a series regular for Creek's last season booked a guest role on Apt. 23.
One loses, the other one gains. Debra Messing's Julia isn't going to be single for long as she will find comfort in the arms of Daniel Sunjata's character. He's scheduled to appear in a recurring role in the second season of Smash. Given that Julia smashed her marriage after having an affair with the man she previously had an affair with.
Daniel Sunjata has been recently seen as a regular on FX's Rescue Me and also had an arc on Grey's Anatomy.
On other Smash matters, Karen is getting a new roommate portrayed by Krysta Rodriguez. After bidding farewell to some regulars of the first season (Ellis, Frank and Dev) Smash is recruiting a new series regular in the person of Jeremy Jordan, his character is described as a a "Brooklyn-born singer with a self-destructive" side, according to TV Line.
Also Smash is looking for actors to portray a gay Broadway hopeful and a female African-American chorus member.
Last but not the least important news on the menu is that Jennifer Hudson is joining the show for a certain numbers of episodes and will portray a longtime Broadway star.
As described by many viewers and TV critics ABC's Revenge is one of the most addictive shows there is. It follows a girl coming back to her hometown to track down those people who put her father in prison for crimes he didn't commit. In main roles we have the amazing Emily VanCamp and the devilish Madeleine Stowe.
The first season ended with a well-written cliffhanger leaving us wondering if Victoria survived the plane crash and God, I hope she did, she is one of the very few best things that happened to Revenge.
On casting news we have some amazing developments, former Greek star Dilshad Vadsaria is expected to make her entrance into the Hamptons this fall. Her character, Padma, will portray a financial guru at NolCorp who besides giving financial directions to Nolan it may be possible that she'll become a love interest of his.
Other new additions for guest and recurring roles are:
Margarita Levieva Books Return to Revenge
British actor Barry Sloane has landed the role of Ethan who's little as known as a man from Emily's past, but then again, it's not established which Emily, the faux or the real one.
Jennifer Jason Leigh has been cast in the highly-anticipated role of Emily's presumed dead mom. It was revealed that she may not be dead after all in the finale of the first season.
Also we're expecting some casting news as the show is looking for an actor to portray Condrad's son for his first marriage who is expected to make claims of what presumably belongs to him.

Aubrey Dollar (32) booked a recurring role on 666 Park Avenue. She'll play the role of Anna, a obituary writer daydreaming of becoming a real journalist. Her character is scheduled to appear in the forth installment of the highly awaited ABC series.
Also, scheduled to appear with a role is Mili Avital (30) (Damages) she's set to play a lonely woman in search for love but also who carries a dark secret. Given the series' theme her character couldn't be more appropriate.
Last, but not the least in today's news, a recurring role is given to Mike Doyle (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, A Gifted Man) who will play Gavin's nemesis. Mike's characters will prove to be very powerful to Gavin's chagrin. He's set to appear in the second installment of the series.
For those who have not watched the trailer for series yet here is your chance.
The man behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Dollhouse, Angel and many other titles signs on a deal to work on developing a Marvel-based live-action series for ABC. His most recent works includes the box office record holder for largest opening weekend ever ($207 million) The Avengers. On the same day of the new signed deal he announced that he would direct The Avengers sequel.
Personally I think it would be a great project for the small screen since there are dozens of super heroes and potential for amazing storylines but there are some doubts too since ABC already failed in launching a TV series based on super heroes/people with special abilities with No Ordinary Family.
Apart from my personal issues I love spending time viewing photos and trailers for the upcoming fall series, and this time we have ABC and there are good chances I might be bias as for years ABC has been my favorite network and you might agree with me on the fact that ABC is the most under-appreciated network. I watched some trailers and I was blown away, those trailers left me wanting more, I have high expectations for the actual episodes and hope that they did not put all the good moments in the trailers but left some to be seen when they premiere in September of 2012.
The show is about the renegade crew of a nuclear submarine, the USS Colorado SSBN 753, that defies an order to launch nuclear missiles towards Pakistan, a decision that cost the previous commanding officer his job when he refused to follow similar orders without a explanation or confirmation. When his replacement also questions the same orders, the vessel is fired upon without warning and the crew are left for dead. Having realized that they have been declared rogue enemies of their own country, they set up camp on the fictional island of Sainte Marina, and declare themselves a sovereign nation with nuclear capability. At the same time, the crew must find a way to prove their innocence, find out who set them up, and hopefully return home. (Wikipedia)
Revolves around a bizarre twist of fate that pulls a man who's spent 20 years as the editor of a skeptics magazine into one of the most compelling conspiracies in human history. (IMDb)

When you move in with your parents after your divorce, you tell yourself it's not forever. Even if you're living with crazy, you can survive it. Because, it's only temporary. Polly (Sarah Chalke) is a single mom who's been divorced for almost a year. The transition wasn't easy for her, especially in this economy. So, like a lot of young people living in this new reality, she turned to her parents for a little help. Polly and her daughter Natalie have moved back home with her eccentric parents, Elaine (Elizabeth Perkins) and Max (Brad Garrett), a couple who are full of life, which seems to always collide with hers. And after a year, it kind of feels like a life sentence. Polly's determined to be "the best single working mother in the Universe", the mom she never had, and so far it hasn't been a cakewalk. Polly and her parents look at life through two different lenses. Polly's too uptight. Her parents are too laid back. Polly's conservative when it comes to dating (no action, whatsoever), while her parents are still sexually adventurous. Polly's trying to have perfect parenting skills, while her parents are more relaxed. They think Polly turned out okay, so what's the big deal. Well, they say it takes a village to raise a child... and in Polly's case, this village is on fire. But with help from her best friend Gregg (the one that got away) and her lovable yet irresponsible ex-husband Julian (the one who wants her back), Polly takes her first steps toward getting a life, starting with a social one. From executive producers Claudia Lonow (Less Than Perfect, Accidently on Purpose, Cashmere Mafia), Brian Grazer (Arrested Development, 24, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights), and Francie Calfo (The Playboy Club, Scoundrels), comes a contemporary new comedy about what it takes to start over. Sometimes you need to move home, in order to move on. (IMDb)
A woman divorces her cheating husband and moves her family from Nashville to Malibu. There she'll try to reignite her own singing career and keep herself and three kids from being corrupted by the materialistic and rarified Malibu world she now calls home. (IMDb)
There is one more comedy "The Neighbors" which I did not include because it look terrible, and that's not only according to me, others think so too.
A nice website to give you scoops and spoilers on the current TV shows and also for the upcoming ones you can visit TV Fanatic, my number one source for TV Series dirt.
Sound off below, which drama or comedy did like more and you're dying to see in the fall of 2012 ?
