The man behind
Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
Firefly,
Dollhouse,
Angel and many other titles signs on a deal to work on developing a Marvel-based live-action series for ABC. His most recent works includes the box office record holder for largest opening weekend ever ($207 million) The Avengers. On the same day of the new signed deal he announced that he would direct The Avengers sequel.
Personally I think it would be a great project for the small screen since there are dozens of super heroes and potential for amazing storylines but there are some doubts too since ABC already failed in launching a TV series based on super heroes/people with special abilities with
No Ordinary Family.
